The University Mediterranea of Reggio Calabria holds the International Seminar on: “Economic and Policy Implications of Artificial Intelligence”, addressed to scientists and professionals.

The main topic of this edition is “Thrusting the AI: Economics, Law and Humanities of AI”.

For Two days, recognized scholars and professionals will tackle the problem of the adaptation AI technologies to the changing conditions of the economic, social and political environment. This conference yields a relevant opportunity to analyze, from multiple points of view, the demands that come from the interaction between AI and economy.

The organization invites personalities from the academic world and specialist on the subject to present scientific or empiric investigations that analyze the impact of AI in the changing, unstable and uncertain circumstances we’re living, with the purpose of creating, in Reggio Calabria, a discussion forum with social, technical and economic value.

Authors are invited to submit full papers (in English) in Microsoft Word format, on the following mail: aimed@unirc.it

Presentation at the conference is required to be included in the Proceedings.

All the papers presented will be published in a referred journal and the best papers will be published in a book edited by Spinger.

Instructions to authors

  • Authors can submit their abstracts and communicate during the congress in Italian or in English.
  • Abstracts should not exceed 1750 characters (including spaces, approximately 250 words).
  • Congress policy limits the number of papers an individual author can present: each participant can present two papers as the lead author. His or her name can appear on up to two additional papers as second or additional author, but not as presenter.
  • Abstract submission is free of charge.
